Why is Jesse Jackson not in New Orleans for a photo-op? He is needed there now, to help the poor and now homeless? But instead he was in Venezuela wining and dining with the President of Venezuela. Okay so he convinced the Chavez to offer Hurricane Relief to the poor and inexpensive fuel as well? Okay we can let him off the hook? But the victims of Hurricane Katrina need him now. Many in New Orleans need a strong man to help them carry their new flat panel display HDTV they have found?Where is Al Sharpton then? He was in Crawford, TX joining the Miss Cindy Sheehan war protest in the ditch in front of the Presidents Ranch? Cindy has signed a book deal and Al Sharpton is hot on the trail for the free PR.

The reason he is not in New Orleans supporting the poor black community is because he is waiting for the roads to open and his Limo Driver to get out of jail in Texas for trying to evade police at speeds in excess of 110 miles per hour.

He will surely visit in a month or two when the roads are open up enough for his Limo to get through and he can be sure that all the networks are in one place for the photo-op?Do you find this interesting that these two gentleman who claim to stick up for the black community and the poor and homeless are no where to be found when the black community really needs a spokesperson? The fact is apparently they are waiting until after the Army Corp of Engineers have drained the city and the people have stopped looting to come in an criticize the efforts of those who are on the scene working triple shifts, without food and little water themselves?
